Hospital Shalom is a not-for-profit missionary hospital located in San Benito, Petén, Guatemala, five miles from the International Airport Mundo Maya and thirty-five miles from the ancient Mayan ruins of Tikal.
The facility opened in 2006 after a decade-long bulding project by
New Covenant World Missions. Fully equipped with state of the art instruments and housing two operating suites, a clinic, and an ER, Hospital Shalom provides world-class medical attention to some of
the most poverty-stricken people of the Americas.
